Scientific symposium Methylation signaling: Beyond histones and chromatin

Protein methylation is emerging as a critical post-translational modification in signaling and cellular processes. New experimental approaches reveal that a large number of proteins are methylated and there is an emerging interest in the role of methylation of lysine and arginine residues in non-histone proteins.

This two-day symposium aims to catalyze debate about the role of methylation beyond histones and to unite a community of researchers exploring the methylation landscape in diverse fundamental and applied research fields.

Do not hesitate to submit a poster or oral abstract!

Deadline for Oral abstract submission: Oct 10th.

Deadline for Poster abstract submission: Oct 25th.

Practical information

The meeting will take place from October 27th to 28th, with an agenda facilitating arrival and departure on the same days. More details in the "Program" section.

The presentations will take place at the Buffon amphitheater of Paris Cité University. The poster sessions will take place in the nearby Hall. More details in the "Access map" section.

Registration is free but compulsory, in order to facilitate the organization of the congress. Thank you for respecting your registration commitment, again for organizational convenience. More details in the "Registration" section.

Finally, two poster sessions will be planned: do not hesitate to come and present your work (Poster A0 portrait format) by submitting your abstracts for selection by the organizing committee. Also note that some abstracts may be selected for an oral presentation (Short talk)! More details in the "Abstract submission" section.
